The Guest Book of Khao Lak
F. & N. S. from Sweden were in New Sita Garden in January 2006 and wrote to us under the title "A dream ??":
Hello R.!
Its amazing how quickly you get back to a "normal life". Right now with snowstorms and -10 it just seems that Khao Lak and our trip to Thailand was just a LOVELY dream, its that why you call it "dreambeach"?? Anyhow we will have to live with this lovely dream for quite a while untill it will be possible to start planning for our next dream...Thank you so much for taking care of us in a fantastic way. It was so nice to get to know you, Ann and little Lisa of course. Say hello to them for me.
F. and N.
This wonderful, encouraging email from Sweden reached us on February 2, 2005:
Hello,
Thank you so much R.! It meant so much to us that you took us around the area at Bang Niang Beach and told us where family K's and my sister's bungalow stood and the other resort where they were eating breakfast when the wave came. We went back a couple of days after and just went around there. We put some photos and flowers near where their bungalow stood, hope that you don't mind. I actually found a skirt that belongs to my sister. We are now back in Sweden and we still haven't found them. I have to try to do my further research on where they can be from here for a while. I feel I would like to be in Thailand until I know, because even if it's not realistic I still have a small hope that she is alive, until the contrary is proved. The worst thing would be that she is in the sea and that she will not be found.
I hope that things get solved for you. I understand that you are going through a really hard time now too as well. Try to be strong and build your resort and your house up again. I think tourists will return. Khao Lak must have been so beautiful before the wave and I'm sure it has a capacity to become as beautiful again. Please not be sorry that you couldn't save any belongings and more content from the safety boxes. It's not your fault at all, and I'm so thankful for all the job you did, went around to hospitals searching for guests including my dear sister and emailing us about the situation and so on.
I will come back to Khao Lak and I guess that especially if I never find my sister Khao Lak will be my "second" home. I hope I can help you and others in the area, by coming back some time.
Take care and thank you,
Best regards
J.
Hello to you and I am praying that you are okay.... all of the staff are recent in my memory of staying in Nang Thong Bay Resort and eating in the restaurant. My friend David Sammann who lived in Khao Lak with his wife Aoy and May brought me to your resort. Unfortunately this very kind american man was killed in this terrible event.
I want you to let you know that I will return to Khao Lak and to your resort.... I hope you will recover soon.
Many blessings to all of you and I am so sorry that this has happened to the wonderful people who loved it there and to those whose home it is and the beautiful land and beach of Khao Lak.

C.W. and R.Ö. from Gothenburg, Sweden, were in Sita Garden in November 2004:
Hello!!
Just want to write a few lines and tell you that we had a wonderful stay at Sita Garden, bungalow A2, 10-20nov. The place is perfect and I will gladely recommend it to my collegues at work (Scandinavian Airlines in Sweden).
Your local contact miss Ann was also very nice, she gave a very good welcome information and did also her daily "rounds" to see that everything was ok. Very good.
Hope to be able to come back to your place in the future.
Thank you for this time.
