The Guest Book of Khao Lak
In January 2011 Mrs. S. G. visited Nang Thong Bay Resort and wrote delighted:
Hi There!
Just wanted to say a big thank you for arranging our stay at Nang Thong - the people were lovely, the beach bungalow was amazing (I wish we could have stayed longer!) and we were made to feel very welcome! many thanks and please pass on our thanks to all the staff!

D. & I. McM. from Khanom Beach travelled in February 2008 to Khao Lak and were full of praise for The Sandy House:
Hello R. and U.:
I just want to say 'thanks' for the excellent website and all the research you have put in to it. Strangely, I am completely out of date with the place. Even though I am living in Thailand for 12 years. As - I have not visited Khao Lak since 1998.
Last week, I needed to travel from my home at Khanom Beach, and stay overnight, to work at a wedding. I needed to book a cheap, clean room for one night.
Amazingly, none of the conventional travellers site were of any help, in the price range I was looking in. But your website and descriptions were great. I found Sandy House, very close to the Ramada, where my wedding was being held. The room was clean, smelled clean too !! It had twin beds, and air con, which I didn't need, a basic but roomy bathroom, and nice big fluffy bath towels.... and friendly UK owner Michael, his wife, Nok, and his large Thai family - were all very friendly. Price, no breakfast, 800 THB. That was for a single occupancy.
Incidentally, I was able to book with them via email/online, the day before I travelled there. In high season, I would recommend phoning in your reservation, as their prices are very competitive.

F. & N. S. from Sweden were in Sita Garden in January 2006 and wrote to us under the title "A dream ??":
Hello R.!
Its amazing how quickly you get back to a "normal life". Right now with snowstorms and -10 it just seems that Khao Lak and our trip to Thailand was just a LOVELY dream, its that why you call it "dreambeach"?? Anyhow we will have to live with this lovely dream for quite a while untill it will be possible to start planning for our next dream...Thank you so much for taking care of us in a fantastic way. It was so nice to get to know you, Gay and little Katscha of course. Say hello to them for me.
